Jeremy did his undergraduate at Harvard and then went to UT Southwestern for medical school and internal medicine residency. He moved to San Francisco for his endocrinology fellowship at UCSF. His research focuses on understanding mechanisms of type 1 diabetes pathogenesis with the ultimate goal of curing this disease. In his free time, you’ll find Jeremy surfing at Ocean beach or hanging out with his family.
Mike grew up in Baltimore, MD and attended Bowdoin College. In 2005, he graduated from Penn State College of Medicine where he received an MD/PhD in Medicine and Cellular & Molecular Biology. He then moved to San Francisco to start a pediatrics residency at UCSF and to be part of the Molecular Medicine Program. After finishing his residency in 2008, he started a pediatric rheumatology fellowship and joined the Anderson Lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow in August 2009.
